About Covers In arms
The band have been together many years and have now played for hundreds of weddings, corporate events, Christmas parties and private celebrations.
Covers In Arms don’t do cheese, and they don’t do the same old songs other traditional function bands do. They perform high class hits from the all through the decades but they put an emphasis on 80’s, 90’s and 00’s songs.
The band aim to make your event as stress-free as possible.

FAQs
How long do the band play for?
This can split up as 2 X 1 hour sets, or 3 X 40 min sets.
You can also book the band as a duo or solo act to perform dinner music during the afternoon.
For dinner music the band perform 2 X 40 minute sets.
The band can play for longer for an additional fee if requested in advance.
What songs do the band perform live?
Our main aim as a band is to get the dance floor busy so everyone can enjoy themselves.
We don’t play anything self indulgent or obscure.
CIA don’t go in with a set idea of what songs to play – as we like to read the crowd as see what is being best received.
We find we always do our best work if we are left to simply do what do best.
We perform week in, week out, so we know exactly what to play to get everyone up on the dance floor.
What will happen in-between the band's live sets?
We have iPod playlists that we can put on, or if you or your guests have playlists on their phone we can put those on too.
If you want to make lots of requests and get a more professional service then we can provide a DJ set from the bands iPad.
With this service you can make unlimited requests – please enquire for the cost.
The band typically take a 20 -40 break between the sets – but this does vary according to the each event.
Do the band have their own equipment?
All they need are a couple of plug sockets to plug into.
The bands equipment is suitable to perform to crowds of roughly 250-300 people.
If your audience will be bigger than this then just let us know so we can source a more suitable PA.
Can we make the band bigger or smaller?
We can add brass to the band, either 1, 2 or 3 extra members.
Also available is the option add a female singer so that you don’t have to choose between the two different styles.
If you are on a tight budget are looking to get a smaller line up, then we can go out as 1, 2 or 3 piece as well.
Just ask for details as to how we rearrange the lineup with less musicians.
Our venue has asked if the band are insured
If you or your venue require the certificates then just ask and we can email them over to you.
